Ozlick extended release urea
dry season supplement
Efficiently usedUrea fed in conventional supplements is inefficiently used and much of it is passed from the beast. Extended release Urea is much more efficiently used and supplies ammonia to the rumen microbes for much longer periods More of the urea is converted to true protein that the beast can absorb. Excess ammonia absorbed by cattle can cause toxicity and cost the beast energy to detoxify and excrete.

Better Weight GainsIndependent trials have shown improved weight gains in cattle where Extended Release Urea is substituted for conventional urea in pasture supplements. Calves whose mothers were supplemented have shown increased weight gains due to the extra quality and quantity of milk produced by their mothers. In cows losing weight the amount of live weight loss was decreased.
